My Christmas Wish List

“Because we want to, Because we want to”
              – Billie Piper

I thought about compiling a short christmas wishlist  since I will not be home for Christmas this year. So have a read and maybe you can write down what you want for Christmas and maybe just maybe Father Christmas/ Santa Clause/ The Devil will grant it for you **.

Disclaimer:
Don’t blame me if your wish doesn’t happen.

A nice pair of Ankle Boots

Take note: I have had 2 pairs of ankle boots before, but for some reason they either hurt when walking or doesn’t go with more than 1 outfit! One thing is for sure thought: These babies (picture below) are

Maybe when I come back from holiday and I start working again and earning money I can have my dream shoes…. *goes on to a day dream sequence*

I think this would look great with a dress on: with tights- for the work/daytime look and without tights- for a night out gallivanting around town sipping cocktails and whatnot!

 A Camera

You know what the problem is??? I don’t have a camera!

It never really bothered me before but since I will be travelling for a month I thought it would be just lovely to have one- preferably a digital one so I can quickly put my pictures of and not mess around trying to develop pictures plus I can do arty stuff on it and put up on the blog! (hmmm, perhaps!)

Like my first wish list item it would may be up to me to save money and get it!

A New Wardrobe

Maybe this is a bit “Sex and the City-ish” but I think most women would want this for Christmas- unless you’re a freak that gets recommended to apply for Gok’s Fashion Fix.

In my line of work, my colleagues ask clients: If you have a magic wand that can grant you 3 wishes, what would your wishes be?

-         Faith Shoes

-         Selfridges

Done!

An Alarm Clock

Nice!

Believe it or not I don’t have one! That is not to say I wake up without using one- which would mean I would be late for work everyday! I use my old phone that has FIVE alarm settings on it- and I usually set it every 10 minutes to wake me up in annoyance- so far I have never thrown it across my room out of anger from being woken up- which I am very thankful for.

And lastly….

For every child in the world to be given presents on Christmas Day!

Now, some of you reading this might think I’m a shallow git- but fear not- I am not a shallow git! In fact, I care so much for everyone that I have all the money in the world, I would make sure this wish list would happen! This is not only for the children in the third world countries but also for the children who are neglected and forgotten!

I heard a story once about this young boy who was very good throughout the year because he was promised that he would get a new games console for Christmas even though him and his grandma could barely afford new things. His grandma bought him one and wrapped it up for Christmas- on Christmas Eve the boy’s estranged mum visited and said that she’d like to spend time with the boy for Christmas- the boy was very happy to see mum, (even though she left him with grandma!). But on Christmas morning the boy and grandma found that all the presents and food were missing- even his new games console! It turns out that mum stole all the presents to pay for her drug addiction and the boy spent Christmas without any presents (or a Christmas lunch!) and without a mum!

After hearing this, I was outraged! It happened locally and my first thoughts were that the poor child was neglected and hurt but I thought good riddance to mum- they know not to trust her again! What a b*tch! I was seriously angered by this- no child should be left without any trickle of happiness especially on Christmas! So for my last wish I would like for all the children in the world to receive a present!

Yay!
